The gallery artists were asked to invite one artists of their choice to be introduced in a groupshow at [DAM] Berlin. Five of them suggested these artists, who are now presenting a wide range of computergenerated art.
From plotter-sketches to programmed abstractions and 3-D animations and 3-D prints the show gives an overview of different approaches in working with this medium.

The [ddaa] is in his second year and we are introducing the five artists, who have been nominated for this years award. One german, one english and three american artists have been chosen by the international experts.
The exhibtion shows a selection of work or documentation of their career, which spans, for each of them, over 20 or up to 40 years. Plottersketches, Software Art, Animations and documentary films await the visitor.

Once you've seen her work you won't forget. Margret Eicher became well known for working with tapestries. Even so this doesn't sound like Digital Media, it is: the pictures are created on the computer, collages from contemporary media visuals up to quotes
The second part are digital watercolours from unexpected scenes, one group: disasters and on the other portraits of artificial pesonalities. As she says: nothing is real!
