The 'Open internet' series is a plea for free internet access. It started as a performance in which the artist became a mobile provieder of free internet access by carrying two neon signs 'OPEN' and 'INTERNET' under his arm through New York, providing interested persons with free internet access via his mobile phone. The sculpture is also a metaphor for uncensored global information access using the form of a protest banner.
